Every Blogger post gets a featured image. The Image provider field decides where it comes from.
Existing web images
Blogger searches stock photo libraries such as Unsplash and Pixabay with a short, generic search based on the article. This uses 2 credits.
AI generated images
Gemini creates an original, realistic image for the article, with no text, watermark, or logo. This uses 5 credits and can take a little longer.
Good to know
- Featured images include alt text
- Agents fall back to a web image if an AI image cannot be created
- Set your preferred option as the Default image provider in Settings
