Choose the blog and author

Pick which Shopify blog receives each post and which author name appears on it.

Blog

Shopify stores can have several blogs, such as News and Guides. In Quick Post, choose the blog in the Organization card. In New Agent, the Blog field is required; if you skip it you see Please select a blog.

Author

  • In New Agent, Author defaults to Admin
  • In Quick Post, leave Author empty to use your shop domain
  • Type any name you like, such as your own name or your brand

A real author name can build trust with readers. You can change the author of any published article later in Shopify admin.
